Come and see who will be the last one standing in this game of trust and betrayal. Do you have a talent (such as juggling, slight of hand tricks, a short song) that could be used as a diversion while others are poisoned? Come to the feast and have others pay you in poison, antidotes or even lives for said talent. For those that wish to come and watch the spectacle, items will be provided to ensure your safety. There will be a cap of 70 tickets sold. This year’s Head Cook is Zinaida Or”shinaia. The theme for the feast is Silk Road (Menu to follow soon). No Flames or Hard Alcohol allowed on-site. Site Information: Masonic Lodge Santa Cruz, 828 Branciforte Ave./Santa Cruz, CA 95060. Site opens at 1:30pm and closes at 10:00pm. Site fee is $15 for members and $18 for non-members. Please make checks payable to “SCA, Inc – Canton of Caer Darth” and send them to the autocrat listed below along with an email address for reservation confirmation. Directions: (From North) Take Hwy 17 South to Santa Cruz, go forward onto Ocean St. (Do not take Hwy 1), turn left onto Water St., turn right onto Branciforte Ave, the site will be on your left. Parking in the back and on the street front. (From South) Take best route to Hwy 1 North near Soquel, take the Santa Cruz/Ocean St. exit (not Hwy 17), bear left onto Ocean St. (not Hwy 1), follow from above. Feast Menu 1st Hummas Sweet and Sour Melon Sweet and Sour Onions 2nd Meat with Eggs Pasta with Cheese 3rd Tea Eggs Frittata with Herbs 4th Whole Roasted Fish Chicken with Spices Last Strawberry Trifle Cheese Pie The Game Black Arm Bands will be provided as your site token. If you do not wish to play simply put the arm band on immediately. You are now dead. If you are killed put on the arm band. You are now dead. You will be provided with a small supply of "poison" as part of your site fee. “Poisons” will consist of a specific jelly belly color representative of a specific poison (charts will be available). You bag will hold multiple poisons. “Antidotes” will consist of a specific jelly bean color representative of a specific antidote that will only work against a specific poison (charts will be available). Your bag will hold multiple antidotes. Additional “poison” and “antidotes” will be available for a small fee (Caer Darth Fund Raiser). Additional “Lives” will be available for a small fee (Caer Darth Fund Raiser). Each Player may only purchase one additional “Life” for themselves and one additional “Life” to pay a talented individual that has assisted them in distraction for the sole purpose of poisoning others. You are "poisoned" if you discover that you would have eaten or drunk of the food or drink unknowingly. If you picked up your glass and found it "poisoned" assume that the "poison" was a colorless liquid. You are now dead. If you took a bite from your plate and discovered the "poison" you are now dead. If you have the correct antidote you must eat it right then. If you have a life card you must use it right then by tearing up the “Life Card”. Otherwise you will be considered dead. If you are caught when attempting to "poison" any food or drink you will be brought to justice and your fate will be deterimined by the "Judges" at the High Table. A suitable punishment will be determined and then you are executed. You are now dead. If you have a "Life Card" you will be freed and returned to the game. You may hire others to do your dirty work for you. Negotiations for said dirty work are left entirely to the players. The Cooks, Servers and Autocrat are off limits as both victims and assassins. Players who are already dead may not be hired as assassins. Be reasonable. Be fair. We're trying to kill each other not hurt each other. Have Fun. The Game
